Milacron, a global leader in plastics processing technologies, has inaugurated its first Global Capability Center (GCC) in Coimbatore, India. Built to house a growing team of more than 60 engineers, the center marks a significant step in Milacron’s continued investment in engineering capability, customer responsiveness, and long- term global growth.

At its core, the GCC expands Milacron‘s engineering capacity. Its team of more than 60 specialized engineers works in close collaboration with the company’s engineering and new product development (NPD) function at headquarters, accelerating innovation and solution development for the plastics processing industry. Milacron expects the team to grow further as it continues to invest in engineering talent.
Customer and Business Impact
The GCC also brings Milacron closer to its customers. With a dedicated sales and service team now operating from the new Coimbatore facility, Milacron is enhancing its localized, on-the-ground support for customers across South India. This on-site presence enables faster regional response, deeper access to specialized engineering expertise, and a stronger pipeline for product innovation.
